Extensively Refit • Offshore Capable • Cruise Ready
Designed by renowned Australian naval architect Joe Adams and custom-built by a professional shipwright in Port Stephens NSW, LOTTE is a heavily upgraded Adams 45 cutter prepared for serious offshore cruising.
Following an extensive multi-year refit completed in 2022, she presents as a technically refined blue water cruising yacht with comprehensively renewed systems including electrical, plumbing, rigging, navigation electronics, steering, hull coatings, anchoring systems and interior refurbishment.
Combining the proven offshore pedigree of the Adams 45 design with practical systems redundancy and substantial cruising autonomy, LOTTE offers a rare opportunity to acquire a genuinely capable long-range cruising platform.
One of Lotte’s greatest strengths is her steel construction. Steel has long been the material of choice for many serious offshore and expedition yachts because of its exceptional strength, toughness and impact resistance. Unlike fibreglass or timber, a well-built steel hull is highly resistant to heavy knocks and is readily repaired almost anywhere in the world using conventional welding techniques. While steel requires periodic attention to paintwork and the prompt treatment of any small areas where the coating has been damaged, this straightforward maintenance is a small trade-off for the confidence and security that a strong steel hull provides. Properly maintained, a steel yacht offers outstanding longevity, making it an excellent choice for coastal cruising, bluewater passagemaking and long-term ownership.
