Lotte is a custom-built Adams 45 designed by respected Australian naval architect Joe Adams and constructed by a professional shipwright in Port Stephens, NSW. Launched in 1987, she is a substantial offshore cruising yacht combining classic Adams performance characteristics with practical long-range cruising capability.
Built as a masthead cutter with fin keel and skeg-hung rudder configuration, Lotte offers a highly capable balance of directional stability, manoeuvrability, load-carrying ability and offshore comfort.
Following acquisition in 2011, the vessel underwent an extensive owner-led refurbishment and systems renewal program culminating in recommissioning during 2022. The refit focused on structural integrity, systems reliability, offshore redundancy and long-term cruising practicality.
The result is a technically refined bluewater cruiser with significant investment in core systems and infrastructure. Lotte presents as a highly capable offshore cruising platform with only minor cosmetic finishing tasks remaining.
The engine has benefited from ongoing servicing and cooling system upgrades during the refit and remains a respected and proven long-range cruising platform.
